Second Haven — Player Commands

Quick reference for the most-used commands on our server. Bedrock and Java are both supported (via Geyser). You can type commands in chat; items in <angle brackets> are placeholders you replace.

Getting Started

Basics

New here? These essentials help you navigate, set a home, and message friends.

Command	Description	Notes
`/help`	Shows a list of available commands.	Needs: `essentials.help`
`/spawn`	Teleport to the main server spawn.	Needs: `essentials.spawn`
`/sethome [name]`	Set your home at your current location (optionally name it).	Needs: `essentials.sethome`
`/home [name]`	Teleport to your home (or the named home).	Needs: `essentials.home`
`/back`	Return to your previous location (after death/teleport).	Needs: `essentials.back`
`/msg <player> <text>`	Send a private message to a player.	Needs: `essentials.msg`
`/r <text>`	Reply to the last private message.	Needs: `essentials.reply`
`/tpa <player>`	Request to teleport to a player.	Needs: `essentials.tpa`
`/tpaccept` · `/tpdeny`	Accept or deny an incoming teleport request.	Needs: `essentials.tpaccept`, `essentials.tpdeny`
`/warp`	Open the warp list and travel to set locations.	Needs: `essentials.warp`
`/list`	See who’s online.	Needs: `essentials.list`

Worlds & Travel

Multiverse

We run multiple worlds. These commands help you explore.

Core travel commands

Command	Description	Notes
`/mv spawn`	Teleport to the current world’s spawn point.	Needs: `multiverse.core.spawn`
`/mv list`	List available worlds.	Needs: `multiverse.core.list`
`/mvtp <world>`	Teleport yourself to another world (if enabled).	If allowed: `multiverse.teleport.self.w`

Access is normally open: multiverse.access.*. If a world is restricted, staff can grant multiverse.access.<worldname> per world.

Using portals

Multiverse-Portals

`—`	Walk through a portal frame to travel.	Needs: `multiverse.portal.access.*`
`/mvp list`	List portals (if visible to players).	May be restricted to staff on some servers.

SimplePortals

Command	Description	Notes
`—`	Use any portal you find; they’re one-way or two-way.	Needs: `simpleportals.portal.use`

Land Claims & Trust

GriefPrevention

Protect your builds and share access with friends.

Claim basics

Action / Command	Description	Notes
Use a golden shovel	Right-click two corners to create or resize a claim.	Needs: `griefprevention.createclaims`
`/claimslist`	See all of your claims.	Needs: `griefprevention.claimslist`
`/abandonclaim`	Delete the claim you’re standing in.	Needs: `griefprevention.abandonclaim`
`/deleteclaim`	Delete the claim you’re in (alternate command).	Needs: `griefprevention.deleteclaim`
`/trapped`	Teleport out if you’re stuck inside a claim you can’t exit.	Needs: `griefprevention.trapped`

Trust commands

Command	What it grants	Notes
`/trust <player>`	Build/trample/use switches in your claim.	Needs: `griefprevention.trust`
`/containertrust <player>`	Open chests, doors, buttons, levers.	Needs: `griefprevention.containertrust`
`/accesstrust <player>`	Use buttons/levers/bed but not open containers.	Needs: `griefprevention.accesstrust`
`/permissiontrust <player>`	Allow that player to grant trust to others in your claim.	Usually reserved for advanced users.
`/seaclaim` or `/trustlist`	Show borders / list who’s trusted.	Visualize borders requires `griefprevention.seeclaim`

Miscellaneous

Essentials

`/afk`	Toggle AFK status.	Needs: `essentials.afk`
`/kit <name>`	Claim a kit (if server provides kits).	Perms vary: `essentials.kit`, `essentials.kits.<kit>`

Bedrock via Geyser

Geyser & Floodgate

Bedrock players (mobile/console) can join with the same commands. Some UI prompts may look different, but features are the same.

If your Bedrock name differs from Java, staff can help with linking on request.
