The Nakan value clarity of awareness, especially for one’s true identity. They dedicate their time to becoming conscious of who they are and teaching others to do the same.
Many Nakan are warriors who fight for the fair treatment of Haveners, especially those who have endured stigma and hate.
Strengths
Heightened awareness and an evolved understanding of who and what we are, on the surface and deep within, to others and to ourselves. They are calm and collected in the midst of conflict, but they will stand up for anyone who is under attack.
Challenges
The Nakan are understandably slow to trust, as all Nakan have encountered outsiders inclined toward ignorance or hate.
