At any time while playing Minecraft, you can press your F3 key to view information about your location (your x, y, and z coordinates) and the direction you’re facing. Press F3 again to close this page of information.
Look for the line that begins with XYZ.
X and Z describe your coordinates on the horizontal levels.
Z runs north and south. X runs east and west.
Your “Y level” is how high or low you are. If you dig deep enough, you will begin reaching negative Y levels.
